Operating Modes

The D2-controller has a variety of different modes in order to cover as many applications.

A dosing system consists of several components, which exchange information through appropriate interfaces. The following components make up a typical dosing build:

• ► D2 controller
• ► Libra
• ► Proportioning device, such as a pump or a bulk material conveyors
• ► Refilling or emptying units (optional)

The D2 controller calculates from the messurement results of the scale via special regression-filters the current flow. Based on this a new setpoint for the proportioning device is determined.

As a balance, the following makes and model series with a serial interface (RS232) can be

• ► Global Weighing Technologies (GWT)

For dosing or metering pump, each unit with a digital or analog standard interface can be used, e.g. Prominent Telab, leva or Brabender.
The pulsation of all common dosing pumps is suppressed by the D2 controller for the flow calculation.
